The number of active job postings in the Chemicals sector of Germany decreased by 28.31% MoM, and decreased by 35.99% since October 2023, reaching 2,467 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 429 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 21.43% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,403 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 96.5% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 60.82% and the number of jobs closed increased by 38.36%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 26.83%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 13.82% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 11.43%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 722, number of jobs closed stood at 1,048 and number of active jobs stood at 3,342.
