The number of active job postings in the Chemicals sector of India decreased by 58.96% MoM, and decreased by 76.79% since October 2023, reaching 888 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 618 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 53.88% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,894 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 4.92% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 67.18% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 17.18%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 31.02%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 38.55% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 6.09%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 1,347, number of jobs closed stood at 2,182 and number of active jobs stood at 2,423.
