The number of active job postings in the Chemicals sector of the North America region decreased by 2.87% MoM, and decreased by 13% since October 2023, reaching 13,476 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 4,836 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 31.59% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 5,234 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 16.91% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 10.21% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 26.78%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 3.53%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.53% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 9.87%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 4,804, number of jobs closed stood at 5,748 and number of active jobs stood at 14,378.
