In the LTM period, March 2022 turned out to be the most prolific in terms of deal size, with a total deal value of $4,355.8 million, resulting in an average deal value of $726.0 million during that month. On the other hand, the month of June 2021 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 18 deals, resulting in an average deal value of $155.0 million during that month.
Of the 98 deals, the deal secured between CDP Industria SpA; Eni SpA and Saipem SpA, was the largest Equity Offering deal in the Europe Construction sector, which was valued at $1,467.4 million and was completed on June 22, 2022. The second-largest deal was between Mitsui & Co Ltd and Mainstream Renewable Power Ltd, while the third-largest deal was between Worcestershire County Council Pension Scheme and The Gresham House Forest Growth and Sustainability LP. The Mitsui & Co Ltd-Mainstream Renewable Power Ltd deal and the Worcestershire County Council Pension Scheme-The Gresham House Forest Growth and Sustainability LP deal were valued at $633.0 million and $265.2 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between HAL Holding N.V.-Technip Energies NV valued at $231.0 million, whereas the deal between Acciona SA-Nordex SE valued at $146.9 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $2,743.6 million and accounted for nearly 18.89% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The Europe region accounted for 23.44% of the total Equity Offering deals done globally, and accounted for 0.31% of the total deal size on a global scale.
