The number of active ESG related job postings driven by ESG in the Construction sector of the Europe region decreased by 18.91% MoM, and decreased by 12.66% since October 2023, reaching 11,637 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 4,386 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 1.27% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 7,100 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 36.85% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted decreased by 16.49% and the number of ESG related jobs closed increased by 52.23%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 5.83%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.41% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 15.04%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 5,361, the average number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 5,635 and the average number of active ESG related jobs stood at 13,630.
