The number of active job postings in the Construction sector of France decreased by 13.8% MoM, and decreased by 4.88% since October 2023, reaching 13,639 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 3,034 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 27.86% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 5,218 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 64.87% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted increased by 4.8% and the number of jobs closed increased by 111.86%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a growth rate of 1.58%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 1.65% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 28.43%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 3,268, number of jobs closed stood at 3,335 and number of active jobs stood at 15,104.
