The number of active ESG related job postings driven by ESG in the Construction sector of the North America region decreased by 12.74% MoM, and decreased by 14.41% since October 2023, reaching 38,276 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 15,040 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 13.33% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 20,628 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 19.33% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted decreased by 12.31% and the number of ESG related jobs closed increased by 30.27%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 4.29%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.05% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 9.21%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 17,088, the average number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 18,370 and the average number of active ESG related jobs stood at 43,684.
