The number of active Technology related job postings driven by Technology in the Construction sector of the North America region decreased by 12.6% MoM, and decreased by 15.27% since October 2023, reaching 28,501 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 10,358 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 15.49% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 14,467 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 23.52% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 5.71% and the number of Technology related jobs closed increased by 29.68%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 1.94%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.37% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 9.05%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 11,343, the average number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 12,670 and the average number of active Technology related jobs stood at 32,525.
