The number of active Cloud related job postings driven by Cloud in the Consumer Packaged Goods sector of the Asia-Pacific region decreased by 15.68% MoM, and decreased by 15.5% since October 2023, reaching 812 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 251 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 18.77% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 402 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 46.72% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted decreased by 20.06% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed increased by 46.72%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 7.19%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.46% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 13.63%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 276, the average number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 304 and the average number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 916.
