The number of active job postings in the Consumer Packaged Goods sector of Austria decreased by 5.44% MoM, and decreased by 17.94% since October 2023, reaching 974 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 140 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 21.79% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 196 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 27.41% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 45.1% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 15.52%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 18.12%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.38% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 5.47%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 204, number of jobs closed stood at 252 and number of active jobs stood at 1,078.
