The second-largest deal was between Atreides Management, LP; Blackstone Horizon; Eldridge Industries LLC; Fidelity Management & Research Company; Guggenheim Investments; Hedosophia; MSD Partners LP; SoftBank Vision Fund 1 and GoBrands Inc, while the third-largest deal was between Bain Capital LP and Berlin Brands Group. The Atreides Management, LP; Blackstone Horizon; Eldridge Industries LLC; Fidelity Management & Research Company; Guggenheim Investments; Hedosophia; MSD Partners LP; SoftBank Vision Fund 1-GoBrands Inc deal and the Bain Capital LP-Berlin Brands Group deal were valued at $1,000.0 million and $700.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between T. Rowe Price Group Inc-Rappi SAS valued at $500.0 million, whereas the deal between Durational Capital Management LP-Casper Sleep Inc valued at $435.8 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $3,875.77 million and accounted for nearly 34.83% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. By region, Asia-Pacific accounted for 40.55% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and recorded a total deal value of $4,499.3 million, which accounted for 39.82% of the total deal size on a global scale.
