The number of active Technology related job postings in the Global Consumer Packaged Goods Sector decreased by 11.43% MoM, and decreased by 22.95% since October 2023, reaching 37,533 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 12,995 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 1.57% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 17,838 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 16.51% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 32.52% and the number of Technology related jobs closed decreased by 4.23%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 12.29%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 8.32% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 1.43%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 15,452, number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 18,088 and number of active Technology related jobs stood at 43,377.
