Of the 872 deals, the deal secured between Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, LLC; TPG Inc and Covetrus Inc, was the largest Private Equity/Venture Financing deal in the North America Consumer sector, which was valued at $3,029.3 million and was completed on May 19, 2022. The second-largest deal was between Stone Point Capital LLC and Tivity Health Inc, while the third-largest deal was between KPS Capital Partners LP and Almidones Mexicanos, S.A. de C.V.; DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products Company LLC. The Stone Point Capital LLC-Tivity Health Inc deal and the KPS Capital Partners LP-Almidones Mexicanos, S.A. de C.V.; DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products Company LLC deal were valued at $2,320.4 million and $1,300.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Blackstone Inc; Sycamore Partners-Spanx Inc; Ste. Michelle Wine Estates Ltd. valued at $1,200.0 million, whereas the deal between Ardian SA; Atreides Management, LP; Blackstone Horizon; Eldridge Industries LLC; Fidelity Management & Research Company; Guggenheim Investments; Hedosophia; MSD Partners LP; SoftBank Vision Fund 1-Florida Food Products Inc; GoBrands Inc valued at $1,000.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $9,049.7 million and accounted for nearly 29.18% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The North America region accounted for 40.17% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and accounted for 5.91% of the total deal size on a global scale.
