The number of active job postings in the Consumer Packaged Goods sector of the North America region decreased by 6.51% MoM, and decreased by 18.07% since October 2023, reaching 113,763 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 26,007 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 5.46% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 33,931 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 4.43% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 31.37% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 7.09%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 11.79%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.43% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 2.42%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 30,597, number of jobs closed stood at 36,525 and number of active jobs stood at 125,954.
