In 2021, Moncler's mono-brand distribution network included 237 retail stores, an increase of 18 stores from the end of 2020, and 64 wholesale stores, an increase of 1 store from 2020. Of the 237 retail stores in 2021, the Asia region had the most retail store with 117 stores, followed by 84 stores in EMEA, and 36 stores in America.
In FY2021, the Asia region (which includes APAC, Japan, and Korea) had the most retail stores with 117 stores. It recorded a year-on-year increase of 12.5% in the number of stores. Followed by the EMEA region with 84 retail stores, an increase of about 37.7% compared to 2020. While Americas region had the lowest number of retail stores with 36 stores and YoY growth of 2.9%. Moncler is planning to expand its Stone Island brand to international markets such as Korea, strengthening core markets such as European ones, and penetrating less mature markets with high potential such as North America and China.
