The number of active ESG related job postings in the Insurance sector of Canada decreased by 1.7% MoM, and increased by 3% since October 2023, reaching 927 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 711 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 37.26% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 727 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 29.82% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted increased by 22.16% and the number of ESG related jobs closed increased by 19.97%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 6.9%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a growth rate of 0.99% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 6.26%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 643, number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 643 and number of active ESG related jobs stood at 938.
