China: Technology Related Job Trends in the Financial Services Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active Technology related job postings in the Financial Services sector of China decreased by 15.06% MoM, and decreased by 18.57% since October 2023, reaching 1,162 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 187 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 41.19% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 393 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 16.27% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 33.69% and the number of Technology related jobs closed increased by 7.38%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 12.8%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.62% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 2.4%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 279, number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 366 and number of active Technology related jobs stood at 1,336.
