The Advent International Corp; Centerbridge Partners LP; TowerBrook Capital Partners LP-Aareal Bank AG deal and the TPG Capital LP; Vista Equity Partners Management LLC-Blue Prism Group Plc deal were valued at $1,978.0 million and $1,500.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Canada Pension Plan Investment Board; La Caisse des Depots et placement du Quebec; Motive Partners LLC-FNZ UK Ltd valued at $1,400.0 million, whereas the deal between Altimeter Capital Management LP; Blackstone Inc; Dragoneer Investment Group LLC; Franklin Templeton L.L.C.; GIC Investment Limited; Insight Partners; Qatar Investment Authority; The Oxford Endowment Fund; Tiger Global Management LLC-Checkout Ltd; The Family (Music) Limited valued at $1,000.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $11,710.3 million and accounted for nearly 23.87% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The Europe region accounted for 27.26% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and accounted for 1.50% of the total deal size on a global scale.
