On the other hand, the month of May 2022 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 12 deals, resulting in an average deal value of $34.1 million during that month.
Of the 72 deals, the deal secured between TPG Capital LP; Vista Equity Partners Management LLC and Blue Prism Group Plc, was the largest Private Equity/Venture Financing deal in the Europe Financial Services sector driven by Cloud, which was valued at $1,500.0 million and was completed on September 27, 2021. The second-largest deal was between Altimeter Capital Management LP; Dragoneer Investment Group LLC; Franklin Templeton L.L.C.; GIC Investment Limited; Insight Partners; Qatar Investment Authority; The Oxford Endowment Fund; Tiger Global Management LLC and Checkout Ltd, while the third-largest deal was between Silver Lake Partners, L.P. and Software AG. The Altimeter Capital Management LP; Dragoneer Investment Group LLC; Franklin Templeton L.L.C.; GIC Investment Limited; Insight Partners; Qatar Investment Authority; The Oxford Endowment Fund; Tiger Global Management LLC-Checkout Ltd deal and the Silver Lake Partners, L.P.-Software AG deal were valued at $1,000.0 million and $389.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between BlackRock Private Equity Partners; Carta Inc; Clearwater Analytics Holdings Inc; Klarna Bank AB; Permira IP Ltd-GoCardless Ltd valued at $312.0 million, whereas the deal between EQT Growth-Mambu GmbH valued at $265.7 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $3,466.7 million and accounted for nearly 64.38% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The Europe region accounted for 27.57% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and accounted for 34.12% of the total deal size on a global scale.
