On the other hand, the month of June 2021 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 12 deals, resulting in an average deal value of $14.5 million during that month.
Of the 111 deals, the deal secured between TPG Capital LP; Vista Equity Partners Management LLC and Blue Prism Group Plc, was the largest Private Equity/Venture Financing deal in the Europe Financial Services sector driven by Digitalization, which was valued at $1,500.0 million and was completed on September 27, 2021. The second-largest deal was between SoftBank Vision Fund II; Tiger Global Management LLC and Revolut Ltd, while the third-largest deal was between B Capital Tech Opportunities Corp; BlackRock Inc; btov Partners AG; Centerbridge Partners LP; Crestline Investors Inc; Fin Capital Limited; Sentinel Dome Partners and SumUp Payments Ltd. The SoftBank Vision Fund II; Tiger Global Management LLC-Revolut Ltd deal and the B Capital Tech Opportunities Corp; BlackRock Inc; btov Partners AG; Centerbridge Partners LP; Crestline Investors Inc; Fin Capital Limited; Sentinel Dome Partners-SumUp Payments Ltd deal were valued at $800.0 million and $621.7 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Silver Lake Partners, L.P.-Software AG valued at $389.0 million, whereas the deal between Advent International Corp; Viking Global Investors LP-Global Processing Services Ltd (GPS) valued at $300.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $3,610.7 million and accounted for nearly 57.15% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The Europe region accounted for 27.49% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and accounted for 30.25% of the total deal size on a global scale.
