The number of active Cloud related job postings driven by Cloud in the Banking and Payments sector of the Europe region decreased by 13.33% MoM, and decreased by 23.68% since October 2023, reaching 3,958 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 1,114 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 18.86% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,723 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 4.49% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted decreased by 32.93% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed increased by 18.58%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 12.47%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 8.61% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 5.85%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 1,422, the average number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 1,677 and the average number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 4,677.
