The number of active Cloud related job postings driven by Cloud in the Financial Services sector of the Europe region decreased by 14.75% MoM, and decreased by 24.08% since October 2023, reaching 4,843 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 1,289 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 19.44% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 2,127 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 2.8% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted decreased by 34.77% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed increased by 25.27%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 13.27%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 8.77% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 7.8%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 1,665, the average number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 1,979 and the average number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 5,763.
