The number of active job postings in the Financial Services sector of the Europe region decreased by 15.9% MoM, and decreased by 24.99% since October 2023, reaching 49,870 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 14,780 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 10.01% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 24,205 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 11.42% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 31.43% and the number of jobs closed increased by 21.21%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 11.82%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 9.14% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 6.62%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 18,257, number of jobs closed stood at 22,015 and number of active jobs stood at 60,062.
