The number of active ESG related job postings in the Financial Services sector of Germany decreased by 16.18% MoM, and decreased by 12.09% since October 2023, reaching 938 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 305 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 18.67% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 486 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 14.62% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted decreased by 19.53% and the number of ESG related jobs closed increased by 42.52%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 6.98%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.2% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 12.54%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 371, number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 393 and number of active ESG related jobs stood at 1,073.
