The Global Financial Services sector witnessed 24 Private Equity/Venture Financing deals driven by Digitalization in July 2022, for an aggregate deal value of $861.4 million. This represents a decrease of 63.1% in terms of value and a decrease of 17.0% in terms of volume, year over year.
A total of 314 Private Equity/Venture Financing deals were recorded over the last twelve months (LTM) for an aggregate deal value of $18,844.4 million. In the LTM period, December 2021, turned out to be the most prolific in terms of deal size, with a total deal value of $3,565.7 million and a deal volume of 22 during that month. On the other hand, the month of January 2022, was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 30 deals with a total deal value of $1,381.4 million during that month.
On an average, over the LTM period, 26 deals were done with an average deal size of $1,570.4 million.
