The number of active ESG related job postings in the Insurance sector of India decreased by 14.45% MoM, and decreased by 17.93% since October 2023, reaching 444 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 305 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 8.16% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 380 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 31.03% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted increased by 7.39% and the number of ESG related jobs closed increased by 61.7%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 2.41%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.37% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 17.37%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 291, number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 303 and number of active ESG related jobs stood at 507.
