The number of active ESG related job postings in the Financial Services sector of Ireland decreased by 4.38% MoM, and decreased by 21.58% since October 2023, reaching 458 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 154 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 25.2% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 175 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 6.91% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted decreased by 33.91% and the number of ESG related jobs closed decreased by 32.69%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 12.89%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 7.78% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 12.36%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 176, number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 214 and number of active ESG related jobs stood at 516.
