The number of active Social related job postings in the Financial Services sector of Malaysia decreased by 10.91% MoM, and decreased by 18.03% since October 2023, reaching 441 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 125 new Social related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 6.02% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 179 Social related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 1.1% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Social related jobs posted decreased by 31.69% and the number of Social related jobs closed decreased by 22.84%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Social related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 11.93%, the number of active Social related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.41% and the number of Social related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 8.28%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Social related jobs posted stood at 151, number of Social related jobs closed stood at 188 and number of active Social related jobs stood at 504.
