Mexico: Job Trends in the Financial Services Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active job postings in the Financial Services sector of Mexico decreased by 17.71% MoM, and decreased by 30.56% since October 2023, reaching 2,931 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 1,477 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 3.5% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 2,108 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 5.03% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 48.48% and the number of jobs closed increased by 2.88%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 19.84%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 11.45% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 0.95%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 1,963, number of jobs closed stood at 2,081 and number of active jobs stood at 3,714.
