The number of active Technology related job postings in the Banking and Payments sector of Mexico decreased by 18.64% MoM, and decreased by 35.22% since October 2023, reaching 1,113 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 620 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 3.73% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 875 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 5.81% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 53.1% and the number of Technology related jobs closed decreased by 10.99%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 22.31%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 13.47% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 3.81%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 873, number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 939 and number of active Technology related jobs stood at 1,463.
