The number of active job postings in the Insurance sector of the Middle East and Africa region decreased by 1.07% MoM, and decreased by 9.81% since October 2023, reaching 1,297 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 840 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 25.56% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 854 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 15.11% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted increased by 6.06% and the number of jobs closed increased by 5.43%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a growth rate of 1.98%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 3.38% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 1.78%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 895, number of jobs closed stood at 935 and number of active jobs stood at 1,423.
