The number of active job postings in the Banking and Payments sector of Sweden decreased by 10.71% MoM, and decreased by 26.21% since October 2023, reaching 642 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 293 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 23.7% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 370 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 24.34% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 29.9% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 6.33%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 11.17%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 9.63% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 2.16%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 382, number of jobs closed stood at 433 and number of active jobs stood at 763.
