The number of active ESG related job postings in the Insurance sector of United States decreased by 8.56% MoM, and decreased by 14.25% since October 2023, reaching 5,493 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 1,738 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 3.71% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 2,252 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 11.05% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted decreased by 32.5% and the number of ESG related jobs closed increased by 1.3%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 12.28%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 0.43%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 2,095, number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 2,235 and number of active ESG related jobs stood at 6,034.
