U.S. Bancorp is a diversified financial services company that offers retail and commercial banking, private banking, and wealth management solutions through its subsidiaries. In 2021, the representation of Asian employees in U.S. Bancorp workforce in the US was 10.1%  which increased by 0.6 percentage points over 2020. Black & African American and Hispanic & Latino employees represented 9.9% and 9.5% of the US workforce, respectively.

In leadership roles (senior managers) at U.S. Bancorp’s US office, the representation of Asian employees was 8.9% in 2021. Black & African American employees represented 2.4% and Hispanic & Latinx employees represented 2.7% at senior levels in the US workforce in 2021.

U.S. Bancorp launched the High Impact Development Program which focuses on growing the leadership pipeline of women and people of color. The program creates increased visibility and connections with executive leadership, meaningful learning, and development opportunities, robust action plans, and cohort networking/peer support.
