Europe: ESG Related Job Trends in the Foodservice Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active ESG related job postings driven by ESG in the Foodservice sector of the Europe region decreased by 7.28% MoM, and increased by 0.17% since October 2023, reaching 2,331 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 1,276 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 7.23% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,459 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 6.41% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted increased by 28.37% and the number of ESG related jobs closed decreased by 25.14%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 8.68%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a growth rate of 0.06% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 9.2%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 1,283, the average number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 1,521 and the average number of active ESG related jobs stood at 2,513.
