The number of active ESG related job postings in the Government and Non-Profit Organisations sector of Australia decreased by 2.86% MoM, and decreased by 37.47% since October 2023, reaching 2,648 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 268 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 59.46% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 346 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 60.77% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted decreased by 91.43% and the number of ESG related jobs closed decreased by 85.6%.
