The number of active job postings in the Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare sector of the Asia-Pacific region decreased by 19.04% MoM, and decreased by 19.25% since October 2023, reaching 23,023 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 7,966 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 1.39% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 13,379 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 45.16% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 2.43% and the number of jobs closed increased by 61.48%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 0.82%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.88% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 17.32%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 8,487, number of jobs closed stood at 9,889 and number of active jobs stood at 27,386.
