The number of active job postings in the Pharmaceuticals sector of Belgium decreased by 15.28% MoM, and decreased by 10.94% since October 2023, reaching 1,026 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 310 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 10.92% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 495 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 61.24% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 6.34% and the number of jobs closed increased by 9.76%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 2.16%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 3.79% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 3.15%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 340, number of jobs closed stood at 402 and number of active jobs stood at 1,139.
