China: Job Trends in the Healthcare Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active job postings in the Healthcare sector of China decreased by 51.5% MoM, and decreased by 48.1% since October 2023, reaching 3,015 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 50 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 87.8% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 3,251 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 5920.37% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 64.03% and the number of jobs closed increased by 11940.7%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 28.88%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 19.64% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 393.8%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 170, number of jobs closed stood at 841 and number of active jobs stood at 5,225.
