The number of active job postings in the Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare sector of the Europe region decreased by 11.8% MoM, and decreased by 20.73% since October 2023, reaching 36,447 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 11,963 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 13.87% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 16,838 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 9.72% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 33.96% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 23.72%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 12.92%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 7.45% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 8.63%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 14,780, number of jobs closed stood at 18,153 and number of active jobs stood at 41,630.
