The number of active ESG related job postings in the Global Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare Sector decreased by 8.06% MoM, and decreased by 20.24% since October 2023, reaching 65,471 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 21,723 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 9.87% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 27,461 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 17.09% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted decreased by 28.74% and the number of ESG related jobs closed decreased by 1.21%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 10.68%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 7.26% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 0.4%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 26,776, number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 30,256 and number of active ESG related jobs stood at 74,746.
