Middle East and Africa: Job Trends in the Healthcare Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active job postings in the Healthcare sector of the Middle East and Africa region increased by 9.62% MoM, and increased by 7.23% since October 2023, reaching 638 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 229 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 17.44% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 173 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 13.93% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted increased by 31.61% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 42.9%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a growth rate of 9.59%, the number of active job postings observed a growth rate of 2.35% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 17.04%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 185, number of jobs closed stood at 206 and number of active jobs stood at 600.
