The number of active job postings in the Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare sector of United Kingdom decreased by 7.47% MoM, and decreased by 25.91% since October 2023, reaching 6,815 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 2,069 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 27.3% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 2,619 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 22.74% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 64.09% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 70.21%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 28.92%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 9.51% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 33.21%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 3,253, number of jobs closed stood at 4,606 and number of active jobs stood at 7,821.
