The second-largest deal was between DBS Bank Ltd; HSBC Bank Plc and REC Solar Pte. Ltd., while the third-largest deal was between Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd; Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank SA; DBS Bank Ltd; HSBC Bank Plc; MUFG Bank Ltd and REC Solar Pte. Ltd.. The DBS Bank Ltd; HSBC Bank Plc-REC Solar Pte. Ltd. deal and the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd; Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank SA; DBS Bank Ltd; HSBC Bank Plc; MUFG Bank Ltd-REC Solar Pte. Ltd. deal were valued at $336.0 million and $250.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between United Overseas Bank Limited of Sydney-Wilmar International Ltd valued at $200.0 million, whereas the deal between Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Co-Asian Development Bank valued at $154.2 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $3,910.2 million and accounted for nearly 11.39% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The Asia-Pacific region accounted for 36.42% of the total Debt Offering deals done globally, and accounted for 2.25% of the total deal size on a global scale.
