The number of active Technology related job postings driven by Technology in the Industrial Goods and Machinery sector of the Asia-Pacific region decreased by 4.39% MoM, and decreased by 1.22% since October 2023, reaching 5,353 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 1,916 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 5.22% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 2,162 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 14.51% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted increased by 8.13% and the number of Technology related jobs closed increased by 20.58%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 2.64%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 0.41% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 6.44%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 1,902, the average number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 1,923 and the average number of active Technology related jobs stood at 5,509.
