The number of active Internet of Things related job postings driven by Internet of Things in the Industrial Goods and Machinery sector of the Europe region decreased by 3.55% MoM, and decreased by 23.92% since October 2023, reaching 598 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 178 new Internet of Things related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 18.72% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 200 Internet of Things related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 33.33% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted decreased by 49% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed decreased by 31.97%.

Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Internet of Things related jobs posted stood at 255, the average number of Internet of Things related jobs closed stood at 288 and the average number of active Internet of Things related jobs stood at 676.
