The number of active Technology related job postings in the Industrial Goods and Machinery sector of Germany decreased by 10.4% MoM, and decreased by 20.4% since October 2023, reaching 3,169 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 502 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 29.79% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 870 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 22.46% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 59.09% and the number of Technology related jobs closed decreased by 11.31%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 25.76%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 7.32% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 3.92%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 917, number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 1,058 and number of active Technology related jobs stood at 3,657.
