The number of active Technology related job postings in the Global Industrial Goods and Machinery Sector decreased by 9.8% MoM, and decreased by 15.01% since October 2023, reaching 37,349 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 11,982 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 3.18% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 16,040 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 12.45% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 25.96% and the number of Technology related jobs closed increased by 2.3%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 9.53%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.28% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 0.76%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 13,769, number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 15,292 and number of active Technology related jobs stood at 41,690.
