The number of active Cloud related job postings in the Industrial Goods and Machinery sector of India increased by 6.73% MoM, and increased by 13.46% since October 2023, reaching 666 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 235 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 25% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 193 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 6.63% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted increased by 10.85% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed decreased by 12.27%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 3.49%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a growth rate of 4.3% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 4.27%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 209, number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 191 and number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 623.
