The number of active job postings in the Industrial Goods and Machinery sector of Netherlands decreased by 37.24% MoM, and decreased by 46.92% since October 2023, reaching 878 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 146 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 30.48% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 667 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 112.42% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 59.44% and the number of jobs closed increased by 141.67%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 25.98%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 19.03% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 34.2%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 254, number of jobs closed stood at 427 and number of active jobs stood at 1,358.
